# Ployin > Ployin hosts static websites: upload a folder (or a build output such as dist/) and it is served at https://.ployin.dev (ployin.xyz addresses currently redirect there). Every deploy is a version you can roll back to. Accounts also get a small backend (auth, JSON collections, file storage, realtime) reachable from browser code with @ployin/sdk. To deploy as an AI agent: install the CLI (`curl -fsSL https://ployin.dev/install.sh | sh`), log in (`PLOYIN_PASSWORD=… ployin login -e EMAIL --json`, or set PLOYIN_TOKEN), build the site, then `ployin deploy --project --json` and report the `url` from the JSON. Ask the user for credentials; never invent them. Ask before tearing anything down. ## Guides - [Agent skill: install, log in, build, deploy, manage, backend](https://ployin.dev/skill.md): the complete guide for AI assistants, in Markdown. The CLI installs it automatically for Claude Code (~/.claude/skills), Codex and Gemini CLI (~/.agents/skills) and Copilot (~/.copilot/skills). ChatGPT: give it this URL, or upload https://ployin.dev/ployin-skill.zip as a skill. - [Full documentation in one file](https://ployin.dev/llms-full.txt): the agent guide plus features, CLI, hosting API and database API, in Markdown. - [Documentation](https://ployin.dev/docs): the same material for people (HTML). - [CLI installer](https://ployin.dev/install.sh): Linux and macOS; Windows binary at https://get.ployin.dev/v0.1.1/ployin-windows-x86_64.exe ## Key facts - CLI commands: login, signup, whoami, token, deploy [dir] --project NAME [--dry-run], list, history NAME, rollback NAME [--version N], download NAME [--source] [--version N] [--out DIR], teardown NAME --yes, domains NAME [add|verify|remove DOMAIN], install (AI skill), update [--check]. Every command takes --json. - Latest CLI version: https://ployin.dev/cli/latest.json - Project names: 3–63 chars of a-z, 0-9 and '-', globally unique. - Single-page apps: add 200.html (a copy of index.html). Custom 404: 404.html. - Static files only: no server-side code; bake environment variables in at build time. - Upload limit: about 95 MB per deploy. - Backend SDK: `npm install https://ployin.dev/sdk/ployin-sdk-0.1.0.tgz` (not on the npm registry; newest version in https://ployin.dev/sdk/latest.json), or `import { createClient } from 'https://ployin.dev/sdk/0.1.0/index.js'`.
